Thanksgiving in Las Vegas

This year for Thanksgiving, we decided to do something different and take a quick family trip to Vegas! If I'm being honest, Thanksgiving isn't my favorite holiday, so it was really fun to have a little getaway in one of my favorite cities. We shopped (got some great deals!), ate some incredible food, and just relaxed.

When we first got to Las Vegas, we went straight to our favorite boba place (are we really that surprised?) and it was delicious, per usual. My mom and I got the green tea smoothies with boba, my dad and sister-in-law got the peach smoothies, and my brother got Thai milk tea! They were all so good, we (of course) went back on Thanksgiving for some tea! The inside of Tastetea is so cute too! It's all decorated with cats, which I love, and they have an area where people can write down wishes & tie them to the wall. Their boba is also made fresh every 3 hours, so you know you're going to get warm, fresh boba every visit! Their lychee jellies are also incredible - I love adding lychee and boba to my tea!

Our next stop was none other than the Town Square! This little shopping area feels so unlike Vegas, it's a nice getaway right outside the hustle and bustle of the strip. It feels like somewhere in Scottsdale, Arizona, because of its cobblestone streets and cute outdoor vibe. There are a ton of stores, restaurants, and a theater, so everyone can find something they enjoy! We had to stop in one of my favorite stores there, Sweet Bubble, which is a lot like Lush, but it's a one of a kind local shop. I'll have to do a whole blog post on my favorite products from them - coming soon maybe? :) After stopping in Sweet Bubble, we walked around & enjoyed the Christmassy atmosphere of the Town Square.

After walking up an appetite - it was time for food! We stayed at the Park MGM (which was sooo nice), and was just a short walk from the MGM where we went to a little sports bar & got these delicious, massive pretzels! Warm pretzels with cheese - the gouda was incredible - was the perfect little appetizer before we went to dinner! Our "Thanksgiving dinner" was spent at one of the best dive BBQ spots in Vegas, Rollin' Smoke BBQ. For those of you who don't know, I barely eat meat anymore, but at Rollin' Smoke, you can't not get the pulled pork. The #1 thing on the menu that is a must have every visit is a side of the corn nuggets - deep fried corn cake bites. Oh my gosh. They are to die for. If you're ever in Vegas, you 100% have to get the corn nuggets, they're so delicious.

The rest of the trip was spent shopping on actual Thanksgiving, exploring around, and enjoying some time off together! The area around the T-Mobile Arena is so cute and was right across from our hotel, so it was super fun to walk around & take some Christmassy photos. I hope you all had a great holiday & were able to enjoy time spent with your family!

xoxo,
