Positive Mind, Positive Life

Hi everyone! I wanted to jump on here & give some mid-week inspiration. When I was thinking about what kind of posts I wanted to be featured on my blog, this is one that kept reoccurring in my mind.


Your mindset is everything.

Mindset truly is everything. I’ve always been a pretty optimistic person. Of course there’s days where you don’t feel your best and wish you looked differently, and there’s days where nothing seems to be going your way. Trust me, I’ve had plenty of them. But in the end, you are who you are and the only way to be happy is to be positive. There’s so many ways to change things about yourself if you’re unhappy with them – whether that be about wanting to lose weight, cutting your hair differently, or trying out a new lifestyle, just about anything. But the way you go about these things is SO important. Staying positive about the situation & telling yourself that you’re doing this to become a better you will keep your head clear & your goals focused & help you reach that final outcome more easily & definitely more happily.


I had a friend who constantly had a negative mindset – she was never pretty enough for that boy, never skinny enough, never this, never that. And let me tell you, that DRAINED me completely. Me, a pretty positive person, began looking in the mirror & thinking those same things – I could get more fit, I could do this & that differently. It wasn’t until I began to realize that I wasn’t as happy as I should be that I realized why. Being negative about yourself isn’t going to fix your problems, it’s only going to worsen them & deepen your negativity for yourself. This friend, no matter how many times I or anyone else tried, could not see herself in a positive light. She was beautiful, had tons of people who wanted to be her friend, & yet she still couldn’t see how great she was because of her constant negativity.

Just by noticing the reason for my change in attitude, I was able to flip it back around & came back into the positive light. Don’t doubt yourself, don’t tell yourself things won’t change or things won’t happen because in all honesty, you don’t know until you try.


Live everyday day by day & try your best to stay positive because there’s SO many things to be happy about! Go eat those sweets, go shopping, try something new! Enjoy yourself while you’re trying to BETTER yourself & trust me, being positive about things makes you so much more happy & makes you enjoy everyday a little bit more. So here’s to creating a positive life with a positive mind!
