Believe in the Magic of Christmas

IT'S OFFICIALLY DECEMBER! Turn up the Christmas music, light ALL the Christmas candles, eat all the chocolate, throw a Christmas party, drink all the chai tea, bake some Christmas cookies, GET FESTIVE! (Can you tell I'm excited?)

Christmas is my favorite time of the year - if you couldn't tell already.☺ Let's just say since October when everything Christmas hit the stores, I have been slowly (but surely) collecting more Christmas decor than my little heart could desire. You best believe I was in all the Homegoods, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's stores the past few months stocking up on allllll the decor. I couldn't walk into one of those stores without leaving with some type of holiday decor - for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you've seen it on my IG stories. So here we are today, showing you the end result of my holiday decor shopping sprees! & if you haven't decorated for Christmas yet (seriously, what have you been doing?), hopefully this will give you some inspiration & motivation to go all out this year!☺

Here's a little overview of my living room! Unfortunately, I live in a corner unit with a massive tree in the backyard, so my place feels like a dark dungeon 99% of the time. However, I LOVE how everything came together, especially since I had no plan when buying decor - I just picked pieces up as I saw them. It is the best little Christmas winter wonderland in here, it makes my heart so happy! ☺

Like I mentioned before, almost everything has come from Homegoods, TJ Maxx, or Marshall's (we love getting decor for a deal)! It's an accumulation of the last couple months, along with some items I had from last year from Hobby Lobby, and one DIY I made (2nd photo)! For some reason, I feel like the more you go all out with Christmas decor, the more festive and homey it looks. I'm obsessed with all of my pieces this year, so I hope you enjoy scrolling through and seeing how it all came together!

One of my favorite things to get for decor is "fake" presents. Homegoods has the cutest present boxes for super cheap, so I got 3 of them to fill the space under my tree before I wrapped my real presents (of course there's a cat one, c'mon☺). I think they look so cute under the tree mixed with actual wrapped presents! They're also a great, easy way to wrap presents if wrapping with actual paper isn't your thing.

LASTLY, I had to decorate my room a little bit just to have the festive feel in there as well! It turned out so cute, but I love the simplicity of it.
